It is important in the intermittent Apomorphine therapy to change the injection site every time you set a new catheter.
To support patients in that topic we have adapted an injection template especially for D-mine^® PEN patients.
It is inserted in a dairy and has to be filled by the patients.
It gives an overview of all injections during the day- especially the dosage and number of injections and the time of application.
For the physicians the dairy shows clearly when and how often an OFF-period were managed
by an Apomorphine PEN and which dosage was needed.
In addition, it shows the patient how much space should be between the injection sites – cause of possible skin reactions
it´s necessary to keep enough space between every injection side.
For not using the same area twice the template demonstrates also the rotation.
