Administration of Apomorphine

Apomorphine hydrochloride is for subcutaneous use by intermittent bolus injection or as a continuous subcutaneous infusion by minipump and/or syringe driver.

What does subcutaneous administration mean

Apomorphine is either administered via small injection needle as bolus therapy or via catheter over a small portable minipump and/or syringe-driver. The short and extremely fine needle is positioned into the subcutaneous fatty tissue of the belly just under the skin.
